Microsoft Teams: Microsoft Copilot in meetings will suggest follow-up questions

Coming soon to Microsoft Teams: When Microsoft Copilot in Teams meetings responds to a prompt, Copilot will also suggest follow-up questions to keep the conversation going. The follow-up questions will typically be based on Copilot’s prior responses, such as asking for more details or asking what a specific person said about the topic in the meeting. This message applies to Teams for Windows desktop and Teams for Mac desktop. A Microsoft 365 Copilot license is required to use this feature. This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 325858. When this will happen: General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out by early March 2025 and expect to complete by mid-March 2025. How this will affect your organization: Users will be able to see follow-up questions right above the Copilot chat box. When a user selects a follow-up question, the question is sent to Copilot, like any other prompt: View image in new tab This change will be on by default. What you need to do to prepare: This rollout will happen automatically by the specified date with no admin action required before the rollout.
