Outlook Actionable Messages onboarding portal refresh: new experience and updated URL
The Outlook Actionable Messages onboarding portal will be refreshed with a modern UI, new URL (https://aka.ms/ActionableMessagesPortal), and enhanced security, rolling out worldwide in June 2026. Existing functionality remains unchanged. Administrators should update bookmarks, tools, and documentation accordingly. What and Why: We’re refreshing the Outlook Actionable Messages onboarding portal with a modernized experience and a new URL to improve usability, strengthen security, and streamline onboarding for developers and administrators. This refresh aligns with Microsoft’s enterprise-ready security standards and provides a more modern, intuitive experience for managing actionable message integrations. Rollout Schedule: General Availability (Worldwide, GCC, GCC High, DoD): We will begin rolling out in early June 2026 and expect to complete by late June 2026. Impact on Your Organization: Who is affected: Administrators and developers who manage or onboard Outlook Actionable Messages integrations. Platforms/Services: Outlook Actionable Messages onboarding portal (web) Exchange Online / Outlook ecosystem What will happen: Admins will see a refreshed onboarding portal UI with improved navigation and clarity for common tasks. A new portal URL will replace the existing onboarding endpoint: https://aka.ms/ActionableMessagesPortal Security enhancements aligned with Microsoft enterprise standards will be applied. The legacy portal URL will be retired after the transition period. There are no changes to existing actionable message functionality or runtime behavior. Action Required / Recommendations: If you manage Outlook Actionable Messages, we recommend the following actions: Review and update any bookmarks, scripts, or tools that reference the legacy onboarding portal URL. Communicate the updated portal URL and experience to developers and administrators in your organization. Update internal documentation or onboarding guides that reference the legacy portal. Visit the updated portal after rollout and validate your existing onboarding workflows.
