Microsoft Viva: Spell Check in Viva Learning Search

Microsoft Viva has a new feature that spell checks and corrects user queries for all in-app searches. This feature is now generally available and was released in December CY2023. It is available on both desktop and cloud platforms, and worldwide for Standard Multi-Tenant instances. This feature is aimed at improving the search experience and helping users find what they are looking for more easily.

To benefit from this feature, users do not need to do anything special; it is integrated into the search functionality automatically. This spell check feature is just one more example of the ongoing efforts by Microsoft to improve the utility and ease of use of their applications.

For administrators and IT professionals, this update has a roadmap ID of 162943 and is available now. For end-users, this update is an excellent quality-of-life addition to an already robust search engine.
