Microsoft Copilot Studio – Block the access and recording of transcripts announcement

We are announcing the re-enablement of a Copilot security control that will block the access and recording of transcripts generated from conversations between agents created in Copilot Studio and end-users. This feature allows you to prevent makers from accessing session transcripts in Copilot Studio and prevents the recording of conversational transcripts. We rolled back this feature two weeks ago due to a bug, which has since been addressed. This feature will available across all regions by April 14, 2025. How does this affect me? This feature enables admins to set the accessibility level for conversations, transcripts, and recordings. You can configure this control either through the environment settings under Products > Features, or you can configure this setting as a rule and apply it to an environment group. What do I need to do to prepare? This message is for awareness and no action is required.
