New Event Scheduling User Experience for Outlook and Teams
Outlook and Teams will get a refreshed Event scheduling interface with new Copilot features to enhance meeting creation. Rolling out from mid-August to mid-November 2025, it will be enabled by default without admin action. Prepare by informing users, providing training, and updating documentation. No compliance issues noted. We’re updating the Event scheduling experience with a refreshed user interface and new Copilot capabilities to streamline meeting creation and improve usability for end users. When this will happen: Public Preview: Rolling out mid-August 2025 – mid-September 2025 Targeted Release: Rolling out mid-August 2025 – mid-September 2025 General Availability: Rolling out mid-September 2025 – mid-November 2025 How this affects your organization: The updated Event form introduces a modernized layout with relocated controls and entry points for common actions. It also includes new Copilot capabilities designed to assist users in setting up and managing meetings more efficiently. View image in new tab The update will be enabled by default and does not require admin configuration. What you can do to prepare: Inform users about the updated layout and new entry points for scheduling meetings. Provide guidance or training on how to use the new Copilot features.
