OneNote: Multimodal capture in Copilot Notebooks (Android)
Microsoft 365 Copilot Notebooks’ multimodal capture—combining audio transcription, image capture, and typed notes—is expanding to OneNote for Android. Available from mid-August 2026, it generates AI-structured pages saved in Copilot Notebooks, requiring Microsoft 365 Copilot and SharePoint or OneDrive licenses. No admin action needed. We’re expanding multimodal capture in Microsoft 365 Copilot Notebooks to the Microsoft OneNote app for Android. This experience is designed for scenarios such as in-person conversations, brainstorming sessions, whiteboard discussions, field work, and personal note-taking.
