If your organization relies on Basic Mobility and Security management in Microsoft, this update is critical for you! Starting in mid-May 2024, Basic Mobility and Security is set to undergo several updates, including changes to user interface (UI) and new URL locations.
One significant change will be an updated UI experience for the device list, with individual remote actions appearing across the top of the list instead of in the current dropdown menu. The URL for the device list will also change to https://admin.microsoft.com/adminportal/Home#/IntuneDevices, and APNs certificate management will move to the Microsoft Azure portal.
Be sure to inform IT admins and update documentation and firewalls accordingly to prevent any confusion or downtime. Organizations should prepare their IT admins and update firewalls to allow access to the new URL locations as needed.
The impact of the changes is detailed in the original post with message ID MC781582. Plan ahead and take the necessary steps now to smoothen this transition.
