Eligible users can now signup for Teams Exploratory on MOBILE

Eligible users are now able to sign up for Microsoft Teams Exploratory Trial on their mobile devices, allowing them to experience the full features of Teams for free for up to six months. This change will be rolled out in early/mid-November 2024 and is available for users with a managed domain email and no active Teams license. After the trial period, a 30-day grace period will be provided before access is revoked. The Teams Exploratory trial license includes access to Teams chat and channels, video calls and meetings, file storage, Microsoft Viva Insights, Microsoft Forms, and more.

Users with eligible accounts will be prompted to try out Teams for free once they sign into Teams on the iOS or Android app and accept the terms and conditions. The trial license will then be assigned. After the trial period, users will be given a 30-day grace period before access is revoked. In case they already have their self-service trials disabled, those settings will be honored and users will not be able to sign up.

Overall, this update brings the mobile Teams experience on par with desktop, providing users the flexibility to explore Teams’ full functionalities and features from their mobile devices.
