Microsoft Teams: Clearer text highlighting in dark mode and high contrast mode
Microsoft Teams will improve highlighted text visibility in dark and high contrast modes for a more consistent, accessible editing experience. Rollout starts mid-September 2026, completing by early October 2026. This is a visual enhancement only; no user action is required. What and why: Microsoft is improving the appearance of highlighted text while users compose messages in dark mode and high contrast mode. This update provides a more consistent and accessible editing experience by improving the visual presentation of highlighted content across supported themes.
