Microsoft Teams: Facilitator can join channel meetings
Microsoft Teams will allow adding Facilitator to channel meetings to take notes, manage agendas, answer questions, and handle tasks. Rollout starts mid-September 2026, completing by mid-October 2026. No action or compliance changes are required for organizations with Facilitator enabled. We’re expanding Facilitator support in Microsoft Teams channel meetings. Users will be able to add Facilitator to channel meetings to take notes, manage the agenda, answer questions, and manage tasks. This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 568936.
