Microsoft Teams: Remote contact management for common area phones
Microsoft Teams has rolled out a new feature that allows IT admins to manage and add contacts to shared-area Teams phone devices directly through the Teams admin center. This feature facilitates calling crucial contacts, such as emergency or IT helpdesk numbers, for users across the organization. The release is now generally available and was rolled out on December CY2024 for Android platform and cloud instances like GCC, GCC High, and Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant). This feature can be found on the Microsoft Teams roadmap with ID 416284.
