Microsoft 365: Companion apps – Copilot prompts in the Files app now available for starter license users
The Files companion app, part of the Microsoft 365 companion apps suite on the Windows taskbar, now surfaces AI-powered Copilot file prompts for users with a Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat starter license. Previously available only to premium Copilot licensees, this update extends contextual file prompts to starter license users, enabling them to discover and interact with relevant files through intelligent suggestions.
