Thanks for the feedback - That is unfortunately still the case (you should be able to see the Dataflow Gen2 item in the Dataflows connector, just not the tables within it).
This is something that we're looking into so that we reestablish Workspace Viewer access to the Gen2 items, which should simplify the Gen1->Gen2 migration.
