Microsoft Defender for Endpoint: RealTimeSignatureDelivery will be Enabled for all Customers
Microsoft Defender for Endpoint has announced changes to the behavior of RealtimeSignatureDelivery, effective from early April to mid-May. With this update, this feature will no longer be configurable by end-users, and it will be set to its default value, which is enabled. Previously, tamper protection had been unexpectedly failing when RealtimeSignatureDelivery was disabled. According to analysis by Microsoft, there are currently no valid reasons to have RealtimeSignatureDelivery disabled. Therefore, the feature will always be enabled to address issues related to tamper protection. No action is required in advance on this change. For any queries, you can reach out to Microsoft Support or check documentation.
