Microsoft Copilot Studio – Group files with instructions to guide and improve agent answers

We are announcing the ability to group up to 500 files into a single knowledge source, where agents can narrow their scope of search when queried about relevant and related data in Copilot Studio. This feature is scheduled to start becoming available July 28, 2025. How does this affect me? File groups enable makers to deliver more precise, context-aware answers by organizing related documents into a single knowledge source and using user-based variables to improve agent performance and reduce irrelevant responses.
