Matt_Sarb Yes DAX measures have supported alpha-channel HEX values for a long time. It did (wrongly) get removed from some of the JSON theme file compatibility at some point, but has since been fixed. But for DAX measures it's been in place for at least a few years now (we've been using it extensively). It's just never (and still isn't) supported in the GUI itself (i.e. the physical color menu[s] where the HEX value is limited to 6 numbers) in PBI desktop, hence the separate transparency control (where applicable).
