Dataverse – Dataverse SDK for Python
We are announcing the availability of a new Dataverse SDK that enables the development of automated, intelligent processes (agentic workflows) by allowing seamless integration with Python’s ecosystem for data analysis, AI, and workflow orchestration. The Dataverse SDK for Python will be available for public preview on November 19, 2025. How does this affect me? The Dataverse SDK for Python lowers barriers for Python developers and data scientists, enabling rapid development of scalable, intelligent solutions on Microsoft Dataverse without .NET expertise. Key Features: Comprehensive Data Access: Connect to Dataverse environments, retrieve, create, update, and delete records. Query Support: Build and execute advanced queries using Python syntax. Authentication Integration: Securely authenticate using Azure Active Directory and other supported methods. Automation and Scripting: Automate repetitive tasks and business logic with Python scripts. Extensibility: Allows integration of Dataverse capabilities into your custom solutions. What action do I need to take? This message is for awareness, and no action is required. If you would like more information about this SDK and how to get started, please visit Dataverse SDK for Python (preview) documentation. For access to installation instructions and sample code, please visit the GitHub repository. Message ID: MC1188118
