Bulk generation of AI prompt column values for existing Dataverse records will be generally available November 16, 2026. This asynchronous background job consumes AI credits and requires enabling specific environment settings. Users can review and manage jobs in System Jobs, ensuring historical data gains AI-generated insights. HTML (Needs a final link inserted before shipping): We are introducing bulk generation of prompt column values for existing Dataverse records. Now, you can have AI-generated values across existing data without requiring record updates to trigger execution.  This feature will reach general availability on November 16, 2026.<br><br><b>How does this affect me?</b><br>When selected, this capability will run asynchronously as a background job and will consume Copilot or AIB credits. Users can monitor and manage the job and view its credit usage in System Jobs.<br><br>Two environment settings in will control this feature:<ul><li><b>Allow bulk processing of existing records</b> will be off by default. It must be enabled to run a bulk job.<li><b>Require review before processing imported prompt columns</b> will be on by default. When enabled, an imported job will be paused for review in System Jobs and can be manually started after review.  Turn this setting off if jobs should start automatically after import.</ul><b>What action do I need to take?</b><br>To use this, go to Power Platform admin center to enable <b>Allow bulk processing of existing records</b> and ensure sufficient <a href=”https://aka.ms/feature/21883/1″ target=”_blank”>Copilot</a> or <a href=”https://aka.ms/feature/21883/2″ target=”_blank”>AIB</a> credit capacity is available in your environment.
