When this will happen: General Availability (Worldwide): Available now. How this will affect your organization: In the SharePoint admin center, the SharePoint Advanced Management page will display this message: “Your SharePoint Advanced Management subscription is now enabled:” View image in new tab Important recommendations from the product team: This change is available by default. What you need to do to prepare: Review your current configuration to determine the impact for your organization. You may want to notify your admins about this change and update any relevant documentation. The oversharing baseline report using permissions is the first significant step in understanding the current oversharing status in your entire tenant and setting up an appropriate baseline. This report is available in Microsoft SharePoint Online PowerShell only and is not available in the SharePoint admin center. We recommend using SharePoint Online PowerShell and initiating the report as soon as possible. After you have the report, you can start to focus on clean-up and remedial actions. Remedial actions such as Restricted access control, Restricted content discovery (to exclude content from appearing in Copilot search), and Site access review are documented in Microsoft SharePoint Premium – SharePoint Advanced Management overview – SharePoint in Microsoft 365 | Microsoft Learn Message ID: MC1085146
