Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps Alert/sms retirement update
Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps is retiring its Alerts/SMS content messages feature and recommending the use of Microsoft Power Automate instead. The change will be gradually rolled out to tenants that don't use the feature in October, and it will be fully completed for all customers by late November. As a result, admins will no longer be able to send text message notifications through Alerts/SMS. To prepare for the change, customers who want to receive text alerts should use Microsoft Power Automate for custom alert automation.
