Rolling out worldwide June–July 2026, it improves event coordination and trust, requires no action, and respects existing Exchange permissions. What and Why: We’re introducing shared and delegate mailbox scheduling for events, which allows executive assistants and delegates to organize events on behalf of leaders using shared or delegated mailboxes. This ensures invitations and updates are sent from recognized organizational mailboxes, improving trust, consistency, and overall event coordination. This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 561912. Rollout Schedule: Targeted Release (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out in early June 2026 and expect to complete by late June 2026. Platforms/Services: Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online (delegate, shared, and group mailboxes) What will happen: Events can be created and managed using delegate, shared mailboxes. Invitations, updates, and notifications are sent from the selected mailbox identity. Delegates can manage scheduling and logistics on behalf of leaders or teams. Event communications align with trusted organizational mailboxes, improving credibility and recipient trust. The feature is enabled by default and respects existing Exchange permissions.
