Microsoft 365 Copilot: New usage intensity metrics available in admin center report

New Microsoft 365 Copilot usage intensity metrics will be available in the admin center report by late October 2025, showing prompt counts, daily trends, and active days at organization and user levels. No admin action is needed before rollout; admins should inform stakeholders and review updated reports. Introduction To help organizations gain deeper insights into Copilot adoption—especially among users with Copilot licenses—we’re introducing new usage intensity metrics in the Microsoft 365 admin center. These metrics include aggregated prompt activity at both the organization and user levels. User-level metrics capture total prompts submitted across Copilot Chat (work) and Copilot Chat (web), as well as active days. This enhanced visibility enables admins to track usage patterns and adoption trends more effectively. The update to the report is rolling out and will be available under Reporting > Usage > Microsoft 365 Copilot > Copilot. This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 503860.
