SharePoint: Microsoft Lists: New Lookup column type support

Microsoft Lists users can now create lookup columns in the modern list user interface without having to navigate to a settings page. Lookup columns enable a list item to reference another set of pre-populated, managed options, providing a streamlined approach to data management. In addition to existing support for text columns, lookup columns now also support Boolean (Yes/No), choice, and multi-choice fields, as well as formatting options. This update will be released on a targeted rollout basis starting November 2022, with availability on the web for Microsoft Cloud instances worldwide. For more information, refer to the Microsoft Lists roadmap link provided below.
This update adds flexibility and streamlines the process of managing data in SharePoint and other Microsoft Lists, helping users to easily reference and incorporate data from other sources.
