Viva Amplify: Copilot enhancements for smarter authoring

Viva Amplify’s Copilot now offers smarter authoring by using inputs like Word files and meeting content to create clearer, well-formatted communications. The update, available by default, unifies content generation across SharePoint and Viva Amplify with real-time output, requiring no admin action. Introduction We’ve made exciting updates to Viva Amplify’s authoring experience that enhance how communicators create content. With this release, Copilot is now smarter and more helpful, leveraging inputs like Word documents and meeting content to generate high-quality communications with ease. When this will happen This update is available now. How this affects your organization These enhancements are available by default for users with access to Viva Amplify. Authors will benefit from: Smarter prompt tuning: Drafts and rewrites now produce clearer, better-formatted output aligned with tone and goals. Create content from files and meetings: Use Word and Excel files or meeting recordings to generate content. Copilot helps turn documents, spreadsheets, and conversations into polished messaging. Unified content generation flow: A common service now powers content generation across SharePoint and Viva Amplify, delivering a consistent and scalable experience. Generated content appears in real time for a smoother workflow. These improvements build on the SharePoint Copilot authoring experience and share its core functionalities. What you can do to prepare No admin action is required.
