Microsoft Teams: Centralized notification settings for channels
Microsoft Teams will introduce centralized channel notification settings, allowing users to manage all channel notifications from one location. This feature, enabled by default, rolls out worldwide in October 2026, preserves existing settings, requires no admin action, and aims to simplify notification management. We are introducing centralized notification settings for channels in Microsoft Teams. Users will have a single location to view and manage notification preferences across their channels instead of configuring settings individually for each channel. This simplifies notification management and reduces the effort required to review and update settings.
