Abstracts is a series that brings the latest accomplishments in research to its viewers through brief discussions. In the featured episode, Senior Principal Research Manager Tao Qin and Senior Researcher Lijun Wu discuss their recent paper on "FABind: Fast and Accurate Protein-Ligand Binding". Recently accepted at the esteemed 2023 Conference on Neural Information Processing Systems (NeurIPS), the paper demonstrates a novel method for predicting protein-ligand binding structures for drug development. Not only does the method improve the accuracy of current techniques, but it also reduces the time needed for experimentation. The FABind code is now available for perusal on GitHub, making the innovation readily available to other researchers and industry professionals.
