Microsoft Purview: New Personalization settings

Microsoft Purview is introducing a new Personalization page to enhance user experience. Features include pinning solutions, toggling solution bar visibility, showing solution walk-throughs, exporting personalization data, and deleting preferences. Public preview starts late March 2025, with general availability by early June 2025. No admin action is required. Microsoft Purview is launching a new Personalization page that will help users personalize their individual experience on Purview. This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 483884. When this will happen: Public Preview (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out late March 2025 and expect to complete by late April 2025. General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out late April 2025 and expect to complete by early June 2025. How this will affect your organization: The following features will be included in this initial rollout: Ability to pin or unpin solutions to the left navigation bar A new Personalization page where users can: Toggle visibility of the solution bar Choose to show solution walk-through on next sign in Export personalization data stored for the signed-in user Delete preferences one by one or all at once The new Personalization page will be at Microsoft Purview > Settings (in top right corner) > Personalization: View image in new tab On the new Personalization page, users will be able to hide or remove solution tiles and choose to show solution walk-throughs: View image in new tab These changes will be available by default. What you need to do to prepare: This rollout will happen automatically by the specified dates with no admin action required before the rollout.
