Microsoft Teams: Teams Rooms Builder in the Pro Management portal

Teams Rooms Builder, launching worldwide in June 2026 in the Teams Rooms Pro Management portal, is a visual tool for IT admins to design and standardize meeting spaces by selecting devices, licenses, and layouts. It’s enabled by default for Teams Rooms Pro tenants with no purchase functionality included. What and Why We are introducing the Teams Rooms Builder in the Teams Rooms Pro Management portal, a visual planning tool that helps IT admins design and standardize meeting spaces. Builder simplifies the process of selecting compatible devices, licenses, and room configurations, helping organizations plan deployments more efficiently and consistently. Admins can: Explore room configurations and layout options. Select compatible devices and licenses:  View image in new tab Generate and download a Bill of Materials (BOM). The feature is enabled by default for tenants with Teams Rooms Pro. Admins can control visibility and role-based access through existing Pro Management Portal settings, including the option to hide Builder for their tenant. No changes will be made to existing rooms or device configurations. Purchasing capabilities are not included (no shopping cart or transaction functionality).
