Microsoft Defender for Office 365 end user report results to factor in grader insights

Microsoft Defender for Office 365 users with Exchange Online Protection can now expect more accurate analysis of reported messages with the latest update to the User Reported tab of the Submissions page. Human analyst (grader) insights will now be factored into end-user reported messages, ensuring greater accuracy in identifying malicious, spam, or clean messages. Admin submitted messages will consist of the same checks as well, including email authentication check, policy hits, and payload reputation/detonation, among others. This means admin only needs to resubmit or submit messages that Microsoft hasn't analyzed or agree with Microsoft's analysis.

This change will start rolling out in mid-August and should be completed by late August. No changes are needed from the users' side, as the current settings in the user reported settings page won't be affected by this change. It must be noted that presently Teams messages end-user reporting and admin submission is available only to Microsoft Defender for Office plan 2. Users with feedback or queries can visit the Message center post and share their thoughts, and it will reach the responsible team through a dedicated text box.
