Outlook: Navigate Your Favorite Folders Without Expanding the Folder Pane

Outlook: Navigate Your Favorite Folders Without Expanding the Folder Pane

You can now quickly switch between your favorite folders without opening the full folder pane. When the pane is collapsed, your favorite folders appear as a vertical list, giving you one-click access to the folders you use most. Each folder shows unread or total counts so you always know what needs attention. Right-click any favorite for the same options you’re used to, and your selections stay put across sessions. It’s a familiar experience for anyone who loved favorites in classic Outlook, now built right into the new Outlook. #newoutlookforwindows Product Outlook Release phase Preview Release date September CY2026Preview date: August CY2026 Platform Web Cloud Instance Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), GCC, GCC High, DoD Created 2026-05-21 23:15:57Z Roadmap ID 563810 Roadmap Link https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?id=563810
