How this affects your organization Starting February 28, 2026, the custom greeting feature will no longer be available. Voice call authentication will revert to Microsoft’s default voice recordings. If your organization relies on custom greetings for branding or user recognition during MFA, this change may impact the user’s experience. What you need to do to prepare This retirement will happen automatically on the specified dates. If your organization is still using the Custom greetings feature, begin preparing users for the transition to Microsoft’s default voice greetings.
