Viva Engage will soon support 14 more languages

Viva Engage will support 14 new languages starting mid-July 2025. Users can select these languages via web, desktop, Teams, and mobile apps. No admin action is required, but reviewing language settings and notifying users is recommended. New languages include Arabic, Vietnamese, and more. Viva Engage is adding support for 11 new languages and 3 regional variants, making the platform more inclusive and accessible for global users. This update enhances communication and collaboration across multilingual teams. When this will happen: General Availability (Worldwide): Rollout will begin in mid-July 2025 and is expected to complete by late July 2025. How this affects your organization: This update will be available to all Viva Engage users by default. Users will be able to select any of the newly supported languages in the following ways: Web and desktop app: Navigate to Settings > Language to choose a preferred language. Viva Engage in Teams: Language settings will follow the Teams user language preference. Mobile apps (iOS and Android): Language will reflect the device’s system language. Newly supported languages and variants: Arabic Vietnamese Serbian (Latin) Slovak Croatian Hebrew Slovenian Lithuanian Estonian Bulgarian Latvian English (United Kingdom) Spanish (Mexico) French (Canada) What you can do to prepare: No admin action is required prior to rollout. However, we recommend: Reviewing your current language configurations. Notifying users of the new language options. Updating internal documentation or training materials as needed.
