Ideas: Language technologies for everyone with Kalika Bali
In this episode of the Ideas podcast by Microsoft Research, host Gretchen Huizinga talks to Principal Researcher Kalika Bali about the language technologies that she and her team have been developing over the past two decades. This has been motivated by her belief that everyone should have access to AI in their native language. Bali shares her experiences and thinking that has informed her research approach and discusses the positive impact she aims to achieve by bringing generative AI to under-resourced and underserved language communities globally.
