Microsoft Teams: New features to improve user app adoption
The Teams app just got even more useful, with the introduction of new features designed to improve user app adoption and enhance app discovery. The new features include a curated app section and personalized app recommendations, rolling out in early October 2024, with full availability by late October 2024. With these improvements come opportunities for admins to review pre-installed apps for visibility in the new store sections. Users will be able to find and engage with apps more efficiently, with pre-installed apps featuring in a dedicated section of the Teams Store called "Added by your org". Additionally, personalized app recommendations will appear in a dedicated section of the Teams Store, based on the apps used by their frequent collaborators. This will help users find trending apps quickly and easily, thus increasing productivity and efficiency. Admins are advised to take action to ensure the new features are optimally configured.
