Manage Non-Microsoft Generative AI Usage Across Your Organization
Starting late November 2025, admins with qualifying Microsoft 365 licenses can manage or block non-Microsoft generative AI tools using Edge policies via a new Microsoft Admin Center recommendation. Copilot Chat is offered as a secure, compliant alternative. The feature is opt-in and requires admin setup. We’re introducing a new capability that gives IT admins visibility about controls to manage Gen AI apps within their organization.
