Copilot Studio – Introducing the Azure AI Search index as knowledge source feature

We are announcing the Azure AI Search index as a knowledge source feature for Copilot Studio. This feature will allow makers to build Copilots that use pre-built Azure AI Search indexes as knowledge for more relevant, accurate, and grounded responses. This feature will reach general availability on May 15, 2025. How does this affect me? Makers will be able to use pre-built indexes built by professional developers as grounding data for their copilots built using Microsoft Copilot Studio. These copilots will allow users to ask questions in natural language about their enterprise systems being used within your environment(s). What action do I need to take?
