Microsoft Teams: Add people to a group chat with @mention
Microsoft Teams has made it even easier to add new participants to a chat by introducing the @mention feature. Instead of navigating to the add-dialog, you can now add participants directly to the chat by using the @mention function. This new feature allows you to select how much of the chat history you wish to share with new participants.
This feature is available on both the desktop and cloud instances of Microsoft Teams, including Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), GCC High, DoD, and GCC. It was released on December CY2022 and is now in general availability. Make sure to check out the roadmap link for more details (ID 97736).
