PowerPoint for Windows Desktop: ‘Prepare for Questions’ skill in Copilot

PowerPoint for Windows Desktop will introduce the “Prepare for Questions” Copilot skill in late May 2026, helping users anticipate audience questions and improve presentations. It is enabled by default for eligible users, with no admin control over individual skills. No action is required from organizations. What and Why We are introducing the Prepare for Questions skill in Copilot in PowerPoint for Windows Desktop to help users become more productive and confident presenters. This feature analyzes presentations to identify potential weak points and anticipate audience questions, helping users improve storytelling and deliver presentations more effectively. Rollout Schedule General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out in late May 2026 and expect to complete by late May 2026. Impact on Your Organization Who is affected Users in Microsoft 365 tenants with access to Copilot in PowerPoint for Windows Desktop Platforms/Services PowerPoint for Windows Desktop Microsoft Copilot What will happen: Users will have access to the new ‘Prepare for Questions’ Copilot skill within PowerPoint for Windows Desktop:  View image in new tab The feature provides insights to help users anticipate and prepare for audience questions. This feature is enabled by default for eligible users. IT admins cannot control the availability of individual skills. Skills that depend on the Anthropic model will respect existing admin configuration; if the Anthropic model is disabled, those skills will not be available. Action Required/Recommendations No action is required. Inform your users about this new capability and how it can help improve presentation quality and confidence. Review your current Copilot and model configuration settings, if applicable. (Optional) Update internal documentation or training materials to reflect this new feature.
