Visio: Visio personal app in Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams is set to get a new personal app that will enable users to work on and view Visio files straight from Teams. This personal app will provide a central location where users can access and edit Visio files without leaving the Teams interface. In addition, users can use the Pop Out app feature to open Visio in a separate window while still enjoying the full functionality of Teams. This new feature is expected to be generally available from January 2023 and will work across web and cloud platforms. The release will apply to worldwide, GCC, GCC High, and DoD instances.
So, if you're a Visio enthusiast who also uses Microsoft Teams for collaboration, you'll soon be able to enjoy the best of both worlds. No more switching between applications or struggling to copy/paste data between the two - it'll be possible to create and edit Visio diagrams without ever leaving Teams.
