Microsoft 365 Copilot can access Microsoft Viva Engage content
Microsoft 365 Copilot is set to gain access to Microsoft Viva Engage content, which includes question posts in public communities and Answers. This access will enable Copilot to provide relevant responses to user inquiries. The rollout is scheduled to start in mid-December 2024 and be completed by late January 2025, for both web and mobile platforms. The feature requires a Copilot license, and no admin action is necessary for the deployment.
After the rollout, users can query Copilot about Viva Engage content and receive responses. Initially, this content will be limited to Question posts from public communities, Answers, and Storylines, but it will gradually expand to Discussion posts from public communities and Storylines and finally private communities, by early 2025.
If you're an admin, it's advisable to review your current configuration and assess the impact of this change on your organization. Also, consider notifying your users and updating relevant documentation.
