Planned Maintenance: Updates to mail encryption from external mail

Planned Maintenance: Updates to mail encryption from external mail.
Microsoft has planned maintenance for Exchange servers, starting May 22, 2023 and ending May 31, 2023, which may affect some customers using Exchange Mailflow rule or Data Loss Protection to encrypt mail. If this is incorrectly configured to apply encryption to external incoming mail, it will be explicitly rejected and returned to the original sender with an NDR txt. This is an automatic update and no change is required to existing data loss prevention policy or mail flow rule, but it is highly recommended for administrators to update their policy or mail flow rule during the maintenance window to ensure that the condition to that mail is coming from inside the online organization is added. The maintenance is planned outside of normal business hours to minimize its impact on affected organizations, and Microsoft is working hard to improve Exchange and minimize such maintenance windows in the future.
