Microsoft Teams: Best practices configuration dashboard in Teams admin center

Microsoft Teams is set to introduce a Best Practice Configurations monitoring dashboard in the Teams admin center, designed to help administrators align tenant settings with Microsoft's recommended best practices for optimal collaboration in Teams. From early December 2024 to mid-January 2025, the Teams admin center will roll out this new feature and will notify admins of non-conformance in key areas. The Best Practice Configurations monitoring dashboard highlights non-conformance in three key areas, including updating client versions, enabling the right ports and protocols, and implementing split tunneling for VPNs. If a location does not adhere to these best practices, it will be highlighted on the dashboard, and recommendations for addressing these issues will be available on the same page. The new dashboard will be readily available to all administrators. No preparation is required for admins as this dashboard is available by default. This feature is expected to promote optimal collaboration that ensures quality and reliability for users.
