Microsoft Security email update and Resources for Azure AD rename to Microsoft Entra ID
Microsoft is introducing a new name for Azure Active Directory, which will be known as Microsoft Entra ID. This change includes a new product icon and will be deployed across Microsoft experiences. The update is expected to be completed by mid-November this year. However, this will not affect deployments, daily work, licensing, terms of service, or support. Based on customer feedback, Microsoft has prepared resources to help you change the name in your content and emails, which will now be sent from Microsoft Security ([email protected]) instead of Microsoft Azure ([email protected]) starting mid-October 2023. To prepare, users are advised to review and utilize the available resources to update their content as applicable and update any email rules associated with [email protected].
