Microsoft Purview eDiscovery (Premium): Tag templates and review set tagging usability enhancements

Microsoft is introducing several usability enhancements for tagging items in review sets within the eDiscovery (Premium) solution in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal. With the tag templates feature, eDiscovery admins can manage tag templates that can be reused across multiple review sets and cases and import tags relevant to their cases from existing tag templates. Additionally, the tagging usability enhancements in the review sets will allow eDiscovery managers to add tag status columns, bulk tagging count indication (show count of existing items with the tag) and more. These enhancements are set to roll out from early July to late July. No action is needed to enable the updates and once the rollout is complete, organizations can take advantage of the new grouping options and configurations in their eDiscovery (Premium) review sets.
