Microsoft 365 admin center: New self-service purchase and trial settings

The Microsoft 365 admin center is introducing new settings for Global admins to manage self-service trials and purchases, with the rollout beginning in mid-September 2024. The feature will be turned on by default, and the MSCommerce PowerShell option will remain available. Global admins previously used the MSCommerce PowerShell to manage self-service trials and purchases before this rollout. The new settings in the Microsoft 365 admin center that will allow Global admins to manage user actions for eligible products with self-service trials and purchases, while the MSCommerce PowerShell option will continue to be available. The new setting will be available for all Microsoft 365 Global admins, and as future self-service options are launched by products, they will be available to manage in this new setting. The rollout will occur automatically by the specified dates with no admin action required before the rollout. Users should be informed and documentation updated accordingly.
