Microsoft Teams: Export API Support for Teams Control Messages
The latest release of Microsoft Teams Export API has expanded its archiving capabilities to support control messages, which are system-generated messages that appear on Teams clients in response to certain activities or events. Unlike user-generated Teams messages, Control Messages require explicit support from Export API to be archived. Export API will now support member add and member remove messages in the context of Teams, chats, and channels. This update provides powerful compliance archiving solutions to teams who require record-keeping for regulatory or legal purposes. This update will be available on the Microsoft Teams platform for worldwide use (standard multi-tenant) and GCC starting in June CY2023.
