My Activity retirement in Teams desktop and web clients

In a recent announcement, Microsoft Teams announced that they will be retiring the "My Activity" feature within the Activity app from Teams desktop and web clients. Instead, Activity will support only activities directed to the user - the option to view activities initiated by the user will be retired. This change is set to be implemented from mid-November 2021 and is expected to be completed by early December. As a result, Teams desktop and web client users will no longer see the "My Activity" dropdown.
Organizations that use Microsoft Teams may need to update their training and documentation accordingly to prepare for this change. While this may be an inconvenience for some users, the change will allow Microsoft Teams to better focus on and invest resources in activities directed towards the user.
