Difference between business objects vs business intelligence

When it comes to modern data-driven technologies such as business intelligence (BI) and big data, it is essential to understand the distinctions between different functions of BI software to gather and present data analytics and statistics. Business objects (BO) play a decisive role in defining and using usable data aligned with company goals to meet business needs. While BI solutions collect and analyze data within a company and extract it to produce reports and analytics for better decision-making, BOs are objects with specific attributes, values, and relationships to other business objects that deliver requested data when called by various software. BOs help organizations manage their workflows and business processes to achieve their business goals, representing business entities such as persons, invoices, or transactions. Business intelligence tools enhance decision-making processes by using the latest data to analyze a company's past and present for meaningful action to keep their organization moving forward, presenting a clear global picture of the company data which is not a function built within BOs. Therefore, understanding the difference between business objects vs business intelligence is crucial for using them effectively in the tech industry, mainstream, and beyond.
