Planner’s task assignment e-mail notification design update

Microsoft Planner has updated its email notification design for task assignment, with improvements to visual design and task deep links that make it more relevant to the user. Changes include a switch from the sender email changing from [email protected] to the task assigner's email ID, and the display name updating from "Microsoft Planner" to the task assigner's name. Visual updates to the email template design have also been made. The release is expected to begin rolling out in early November and be completed by mid-November, and there are no changes to the Planner Notification settings. Users may want to update training and documentation accordingly.
