Planner Due Date Digest Email design update

Planner Due Date Digest Email design update

The Due Date Digest email in Microsoft Planner is getting a design update that promises to improve the overall user experience. The email is sent to users with tasks that are assigned to them and fall under the categories of overdue, due today, or due in the next 7 days. The changes include visual updates to the email template and more relevant task deep links. The sender display name will change from "Microsoft Planner" to "Microsoft on behalf of your organization". The changes will start rolling out in early November and are expected to be completed by mid-November. There are no changes to the Planner Notification settings, which users can turn off at any time. To prepare for these changes, organizations may want to update their training and documentation accordingly.
